The goal of this workshop is to shorten the distance between conceptual and practical mathematics through the use of mathematical manipulatives. Hands-on activities will be modeled in physical and virtual learning spaces. Using various instructional strategies will assist students in their comprehension of basic mathematics. This foundation will help the adult learner move their thinking forward through guided practice and deepen their mastery of the subject.
