Les interventions orthopédagogiques en mathématiques font de plus en plus partie des tâches quotidiennes des enseignants-ressources et des orthopédagogues dans les centres. L’entrevue diagnostique, en permettant de dresser un portrait des profils de difficultés conceptuelles des élèves adultes, peut aider les intervenants à cibler les actions efficaces à poser. Inspiré du référentiel d’intervention en mathématique (MEES, 2019) et adapté pour les élèves adultes, ce webinaire illustrera comment arriver à identifier la source des difficultés des élèves et présentera des actions universelles et spécifiques intéressantes.

The goal of this workshop is to shorten the distance between conceptual and practical mathematics through the use of mathematical manipulatives. Hands-on activities will be modeled in physical and virtual learning spaces. Using various instructional strategies will assist students in their comprehension of basic mathematics. This foundation will help the adult learner move their thinking forward through guided practice and deepen their mastery of the subject. Lors de cet atelier, ont été présenté d’une part, les grandes lignes du contenu des cours de la 5e secondaire pour la séquence CST  et d’autre part quelques stratégies et moyens d’intervention à mettre en œuvre auprès des élèves ayant des difficultés d’apprentissage.
